Hatha Yoga postures, stretching the major muscle groups,
releasing toxins, tension and fatigue, while focusing on the breath and
centering the mind. Yoga relaxes tight, sore muscles, stimulates
circulation, and increases coordination and balance, flexibility and
strength. Class closes with a deep relaxation.
Appropriate
for all ability levels: Very gentle postures for beginners, but if
you are an advanced student, you will be given advanced posture
alternatives to challenge you.

About Elizabeth: Liz took her first yoga
class over 25 years ago and immediately loved it! After suffering a head
injury she realized that yoga was helping her both on and off the mat.
Liz decided to become a yoga teacher so she could share the benefits of
yoga with others. She received her teacher certification in 07 and
completed her Vinyasa Teacher Training with Seane Corn 10/08.
Liz lives on the South
Shore with her
husband, two teenage daughters, two dogs and a cat. When not doing yoga,
she enjoys reading, gardening, and rowing on Duxbury Harbor.
