PILATES and MUSCLE   

Tone up to music with a small friendly group of area women. Class includes pilates, thighs and muscle using hand weights. Doctors recommended pilates for those with back or neck issues and weight training for keeping your bones strong. 

 

 

 

  

PILATES is exercise concentrated on the mid portion of the body to tone, shape & burn calories.

It is a body conditioning system created over eighty years ago by Joseph H. Pilates. Initially popular with dancers and other performers, the Pilates method has become popular in the fitness  world.  Pilates coordinates mind, body and breath to develop sleek and functionally strong abdominal muscles, a strong and supple back, and aligns the shoulder girdle.

This class is a great over-all workout: Pilates exercises for 30-40 mins, then leg work for 5-10 mins, followed by weights for upper body toning.
