Gentle Yoga for emotional and physical health

               
  Life Force Yoga is based on the work of Amy Weintraub, the author of Yoga for Depression. This class will use yoga techniques that will calm an anxious person as well as invigorate a depressed person.

Yoga teaches us that when we feel alone, alienated or depressed, we've lost our connection to who we really are. Practice LifeForce Yoga regularly and begin to reconnect with your true nature, the wholeness you are beneath the current mood.

LifeForce Yoga offers hundreds of Yoga tools that are not always taught in regular classes, and many that are simple enough to do in a chair or while lying down. These practices help you strip away the obstacles that separate you from your source of wellbeing.

About Roberta Putney ( Robin):
Robin is a licensed mental health counselor with more than ten years of experience working with individuals and with families on emotional health concerns. She has particular experience with parenting concerns, with domestic violence and with addictions, as well as experience with depression, anxiety, bi polar and PTSD. She is trained as a Kripalu yoga instructor and as Life Force Yoga Practitioner.

Class is open to enrollments at any time. Your 8 week enrollment begins on your first attended date.
