Melissa Kitchen has been an educator,
facilitator, and presenter for fifteen years and transitioned to
the field of counseling in 2005. After a great deal of dreaming,
planning and good old blood, sweat and tears she finally
followed her own life path and launched her coaching practice.
Melissa was driven to coaching by a
strong desire to assist individuals in pursuit of their own
authentic life path. She knows from experience that it takes
support and belief to create the life that is your own and not
what others may say is right for you.
A mother of 2 young boys, she knows the
challenges faced when trying to balance family and professional
goals, and also enjoys the satisfaction and rewards that come
with both. She enjoys working with clients on goal setting,
balancing work and family, and using intuition in order to
pursue the life you desire.

After suffering some of her own losses she
learned that life was not a given. “Many of my own life
experiences allowed me to see that life was what we make of it.
We can’t spend all of our time planning, building and hoping, we
need to live in the now. In the difficult times it’s important
to find something in the present to love and appreciate while
continuing to see the hope in the future. I truly feel that this
is just as important in the more ‘mundane’ times of our life
that can be very fragile.”
After
growing up on Cape Cod and beginning her own family in Las
Vegas, Melissa now resides with her husband and two young boys
on Long Pond in Southeastern Massachusetts. Her hobbies include
reading, writing, singing, enjoying the outdoors with her boys
(walking, hiking, biking), and traveling the country with her
family. |
